Something you hope to do in your life.
There’s lots I want to do in my life.
I want to help raise my girls into good, caring women who know what they want and aren’t afraid to take it. I want to arm them with the knowledge that they are strong and smart and can hold the world in their hands.
I want to work hard enough at my marriage, so that when our children are gone from our home, Steve and I are still as in love and in touch with each other as we were when we met.
But mostly, I want to leave the world a better place than I found it, in more ways than the contributing factor than my children. I want to help people, and I think the key to doing so is with my strengths. Those are empathy and (half-decent) writing. I’m not sure what I’ll ever have a “job” and I’m not sure that I want one. But I’m lucky enough to not have to work, and I think part of my responsibility for having this chance is to pay it back (or forward, or whatever).
